TLB Bakery Cafe – ZhongShan Building, Kampung Attap, Kuala Lumpur

Looking for quality sourdough bread in KL? We always drop by Tommy Le Baker at Sentul for their baguette, choices of country breads, sourdough breads and ready made sandwiches whenever we visit Kuala Lumpur.

On our latest trip to KL, my sister told me that Tommy Le Baker operate a new bakery Cafe at Kampung Attap under the name TLB Bakery and we decide to drop by and check out the offerings and the new outlet

TLB Bakery is located at Jalan Rotan, Kampung Attap. The bakery is located inside ZhongShan building which once housed the Selangor Zhongshan Association. The building consists of 12 units nestled in three interconnected shophouses.

OUR ArtProjects is involved in helping transform this building into a creative hub with the support of a grant from Think City, a community-focused urban regeneration organization.

Tenants include Malaysia Design Archive, The Ricecooker Archives, Tandang Store, Bogus Merchandise, Artist Studio, Reading Library by Amateur Collective and others.

TLB Bakery Cafe is located behind a gift store, in the open space between the building. The setup is simple with natural lighting.

The menu at TLB is not as extensive as the offering at Tommy Le Baker, serving sourdough, toast, sandwich and soup.

We had smoked salmon tartines and cheese tartines. Both didn’t disappoint as the bread is freshly baked and tasty. If you looking for sourdough bread in KL area, drop by TLB Bakery Cafe and enjoy their tasty healthy bread with different toppings while enjoy the relax environment at ZhongShan Building.
