Being a chocolate lover, I am always looking for bean to bar chocolate maker. Bean-to-bar is exactly like it sounds: chocolate made directly from the bean carried all the way to the bar. Bean-to-bar craft chocolate makers source beans from single origin locations from anywhere plus or minus 20 degrees north or south of the equator where the cacao tree is planted. There are few Bean to Bar chocolate maker in Malaysia now but Seniman kakao is the first Bean to Bar Chocolate maker to start their own chocolate Bean to Bar Cafe in Malaysia
Seniman Kakao Bean to Bar Chocolate & Cafe is located at an old colonial building along Jalan Pudu Lama. I passed by this area many times before but didn’t aware that there is a row of shop here. If you are driving, you can park the car in the open space parking 50 meters from the cafe.

Seniman Kakao cafe serves coffee from Artisan Roastery. Various option of chocolate drinks serves with different types of milk available a Seniman Kakao. Vegan can opt for chocolate drink serve with coconut milk, oat milk or soy milk.

The ambiance on the 2nd floor is more casual and relax. Good place to lepak on a lazy afternoon.
A great effort by Seniman Kakao in creating their own Bean to Bar chocolate range and their first Bean to Bar chocolate Cafe is a great addition to Kuala Lumpur cafe scene.
