With the mushrooming of Cafes every in Kuala Lumpur. It’s hard to know which cafes worth visiting . One cafe which grab our attention through Instagram is Chocha Foodstore @Petaling Street. Chocha Foodstore is certainly one of the most Instagrammable Cafe.
We didn’t notice the entrance to Chocha foodstore as there are no signboards. We only able to find the location of Chocha when we spotted 2 guys who obviously got nothing to do with Mah Lian Hotel sitting outside. The only sign for Chocha foodstore is the little leon light at the ceiling. We parked at the open car park few lots away.
As long as we walk into Chocha Foodstore, we immediately feel like we are transported back to our grandparents house with the recognisable tiles and decoration. They smartly incorporated the “hip” element to this old shoplot and turn it into a timeless beauty and cosy place near Petaling Street area which we think desperately need an image upgrade.
interesting fusion menu but price is on the high side. We ordered Zucchini & Kyuri which is served with green apple, sweet basil, semidried tomato, toasted walnut and cumin vinaigrette.
Overall, we really love the concept and the interior of Chocha Foodstore. We can’t comment much on the food as we only the Zucchini which is interesting. If you looking for a great place to hang out and snap lots of photos, Chocha foodstore would be the place to be.
