THE B.E.A.N. FACTORY

Coffee connoisseurs will be thrilled that another café concentrated on coffee has opened its’ doors here in Kota Kinabalu. The B.E.A.N. Factory located at Lido Plaza offers an array of lightly roasted coffee, tea, freshly squeezed juices and their very own unique iced hot chocolate topped with cotton candy. Their food selections include the Factory Breakfast, waffles, homemade cakes and open faced toast.

Most of the coffees served here are decorated with creatively designed latte art. One of the best recommendations one should indulge at the B.E.A.N Factory is the homemade yam cake. It’s an old fashion cake that is rarely offered in any café today; eating this cake was a breath of fresh air and is easily one of the best cakes I have eaten in a long time.

The layout is clean and spacious with a semi-industrial/barn look which is precisely my cup of tea. On that account, if you’re ever in Lido Plaza, do drop by The B.E.A.N Factory for a cuppa.
