I grew up in Kota Kinabalu remembering that Hyatt served some of the best Dim Sum in Kota Kinabalu. We were so disappointed to find that Hyatt stops serving Dim Sum after the Chinese Restaurant closed. We were delighted to know that Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is bringing back the Dim Sim back in the form of Dim Sum Weekend Brunch at Nagisa that will feature more than 30 types of dim sum. The Dim Sum at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is halal.
We were delighted to know that Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is bringing back the Dim Sim back in the form of Dim Sum Weekend Brunch at Nagisa that will feature more than 30 types of dim sum starting 9 September 2017.
The sous chef specializing in dim sums and Chinese cooking, Chef Kenny Chen originated from Tawau, Sabah and has 21 years dim sum experience, will lead his team in taking guests on a trip down memory lane in our former Chinese Restaurant. His modern culinary approach to the authentic dim sum tradition aims to attract dim-sum lovers to join him every weekend and experience what has been his passion for most of his career.
At Nagisa, guests can savour wonderfully prepared dim sums, dumplings and wontons, made with only the freshest and finest ingredients. Now diners can gather with family and friends, as in the past, and enjoy a dim sum brunch every weekend.
“The reception we had at the Chinese Restaurant last time was excellent. Now we are bringing back the dim sum brunch to the menu to fulfil our diners’ demand. I can say that our dim sums will differ from others because I will make them as authentic as possible. The taste and the shapes of our dim sums will be unique and they will be free from MSG – keeping them fresh and healthy and suitable for all ages,” said Chef Kenny.
The Dim Sum Weekend Brunch will be served at award winning restaurant Nagisa every weekend from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm with the price at MYR 70 nett per person. Please call Nagisa at +6088 -221234 or email kinabalu.regency@hyatt.com for reservations.
