AirAsia to fly from Bangkok to Kota Kinabalu from 16 Aug 2018

AirAsia will fly from Bangkok, Thailand to Kota Kinabalu (KK) Sabah, from Aug 16, 2018, the flight will be operated by AirAsia Thailand.

To celebrate the launching of the new Bangkok – Kota Kinabalu route, there will be promotional all-in-fares starting from RM99 one way for travels between Aug 16, 2018 and Aug 13, 2019.

There will be 3 weekly flight between Bangkok Don Meang International Airport and Kota Kinabalu International Airport. The flights are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing Don Meang International Airport at 9.30am and Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 3pm. The flights will take 3 hours and 5 minutes.

Sabah Tourism has reported that in 2017, visits to the state increased 9.4% year-on-year with Kota Kinabalu city the main destination for most arrivals.
