Have you caught wind? The first ever Sandakan Food Festival is finaly happening this August from 26th August to 2nd September 2017. It will be a 8 days celebration of food at Festival village and throughout Sandakan. For more details follow them on their Facebook @sandakanfoodfestival for more updates. The Festival will kick off with 4 days of fringe event and continue at Festival Village (Bandar Kim Fung Open Air Car Park) 30^th Aug – 2^nd Sept 2017 5pm – 10pm daily

THE AMAZING FOOD RACE

How much & how fast can you eat your way through the local delights in Sandakan? Join us as we co-host the first ever fun filled Amazing food race & stand a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Fill in the registration form & deliver to Sandakan Tourism Visitor Centre @SanDagen.Kopitiam, Limited to the first 12 team with a valid driving liscense. Registration fee RM80

*Option of Halal food trail will be available

ARE YOU THE NEXT UFO??

In conjuction with Sandakan Food Festival 2017 , Sandakan Food Lover is hosting our first Homebakers competition. If you are a home-based baking bussiness & simply have a passion for creating original pastries & desserts we want you! Win the title of “The Great Sandakan Baker” & be featured on high traffic blogs , local press & gain a whole lot of following!

Criteria

Create an original concept that can best represent Sandakan

Sweet or Savoury Pastries are both accepted

Final product to be presented on a cake board no bigger than 8 inch Diameter Round or Square cake board and in a cake box with window.

Maximum of 2 entries per homebaker.

Admission Fee rm50 per item, maximum of 2 items per person.
