Invited Review:
Lunch at Imago Mall is a straight forward affair, you got to choose from the food court, fast foods, and good selection of restaurants within the mall. If you looking for something different, then a visit to Tavern Kitchen & Bar will give you a sense of “happy lunch”.
Tavern provides lunch set on weekdays from 11am to 2pm. They rotate their lunch set menu every week. Tavern lunch on the 1st and 3rd week of the month and Power lunch on the 2nd and 4th week of the month. Since we visited them on the 4th week of the month, we got to choose our mains from the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Cherry tomato, Nasi Goreng Kampung with fried chicken wing and egg or Chicken cordon bleu with French fries and mesclun salad. All set come with Potato and Leek Cream Soup with Croutons
The food:
We choose Chicken cordon bleu with French fries and mesclun salad and Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Cherry tomato for our lunch. The chicken cordon bleu is well presented, and most importantly tasty. The chicken is nicely browned on all side with cheese and ham slice filling serve with fresh tomato sauce.
Fettuccine Alfredo serve with creamy sauce serve with perfectly Al Dente Pasta.
Tavern lunch set cost RM19.90 net. While it may cost more than your average lunch, the creation by Chef Herman will it worthwhile. Now you can have a pretty lunch and eat it too.
