Marketplace 88 is slowly become the place to be when it come to food. While food hunting around the area, we saw Chateau Patisserie Cafe at the area and decided to give it a try . Apparently The Chateau Patisserie Cafe is run by award-winning French chef, Frederic Chateau and  is known for its range of pastries as well as modern French menu, complemented by wide range of exclusive French wines.

Menu is a bit worn out. Would expect better menu presentation given the price. Price is clearly stated

Salmon carbonara for late lunch. Taste and creamy. Price is slightly on the high side.

cafe latte (cost RM8)

We didn’t try much food on the menu as its late in the afternoon but we noticed that they serve western breakfast. Would drop by and try it out.  We also missed out the dessert which is highly recommended.

The Chateau Patisserie Cafe seems like a good option for wine and dine. As it is run by a well known chef, the Chateau Patisserie is a welcome addition to Kota Kinabalu food industry.
