The thriving capital of Sabah welcomes a 20-year-old brand to its wining and dining scene. Having spread its philosophy of “as good as a hug” for 2 decades in Sri Harts, Ampang and Bangsar South, SOULed OUT Kuala Lumpur flings open its doors to its 4th outlet amidst high anticipation from residents and offices around the vicinity.

“The passion still runs deep in our veins after so many years. The SOULed OUT brand is very close to our hearts and we have been very selective about choosing the right location for the next SOULed OUT. Kota Kinabalu is our first foray outside Kuala Lumpur and we are tremendously proud of this venture. Hewn after the ever popular SOULed OUT in Sri Hartamas, the premise takes on a contemporary stylish air with an eclectic mix of materials and is designed by international designer Ed Poole. Unique and arresting features are the shadow pillars, bakau poles that line the ceiling, a diamond shaped bar and a 14-foot Big Ass Fan right above. A pastel palatte of customised shelving displays predominates at the private dining area. The use of bright orange chairs gives the place a casual yet stylish atmosphere. Positioned as the place for fun and celebration, it caters to the masses from a simple family dinner or drinks with the boys to boisterous birthday bashes.

Familiar favourites such as Fried Beef Noodles, Chicken Cordon ‘BLURR’, Sizzling Lamb Cutlet and Sake San Pizza are all ready to entice a new hoard of customers. Complementing this will be a torrent of Thirst Quenching Drinks with the highlights being cold, cold beers, signature cocktails such as the Classic Mojito, Fruity Sangrias and Lychee Martini, wines, spirits and a neat potpourri of detox juices such as the famous Dragonfly juice. Dollops of personalised service are one of the traits that set SOULed OUT apart from the rest. Efficient yet personable, SOULed OUT is a favourite hangout for friends and family looking to foster the spirit of friendship and camaraderie.

As part of the opening marketing campaign, patrons will be able to claim a Mojito on the house by simply taking a picture with a Giant Mojito Standee located outside the premise. All they would need to do is to upload that picture onto Facebook and tag 8 friends. Minimal work for a glass of pure pleasure!

Kota Kinabalu is SOULed OUT’s 3rd franchise outlet with Bangsar South being the second which opened its doors in 2013 following its first in Ampang in 2012. Plans are underway to identify more franchisees to realise SOULed OUTs vision of expanding a brand that has grown from strength to strength over the years so that more people are able partake in the fun and celebration that has made SOULed OUT famous.

SOULed OUT began in 1996 as a small neighbourhood café in Mont Kiara and moved to her current premise in Desa Sri Hartamas in December 1999. So named as each and every staff member puts their heart and soul into providing her patrons with the best.
