4. Persatuan Perikanan Sandakan
A restaurant without menu and the chef decide what to serve, If its sound good for you, then a trip to Persatuan Perikanan Sandakan (Sandakan Fishing Association) for one of the best best seafood in town. The restaurant is actually operated at the fishing association and the chef is the chairman of the association. There are only 4 tables available so make sure you make a booking before visiting.

7. Kedai Kopi Yii Siang, Inanam
i Siang Hainan Ngiu Chap serve delicious Beef noodle since 1993. The owner, Mr Ling started the beef noodle from a stall at Kedai Kopi Yii Siang and people remember them as Fei Lou Ngiu Chap (fat man beef noodle) and their generous serving of beef and ngiu chap (beef mix). As Yii Siang become more and more famous, they decided to take over the coffee shop and sell only Beef noodle. The shop become brighter with big menu on the wall make it easier for customers. They also introduce Ngiu Chap Laksa (laksa beef noodle) and Ngiu Chap rice (beef rice) to their menu. We are really excited to know about Ngiu Chap laksa, first ever in Kota Kinabalu. Now we can have laksa and beef noodle, all in 1 bowl!

8. Lokan, kelapa bakar stall, Jalan Sulaman
A trip to Tuaran must include a stopover at Sulaman road area where there are many stalls alongside the road serving Lokan Bakar, coconut puddings and grilled coconut. Lokan Bakar mean BBQ clams. The clams are collected from the mangrove nearby.
There are more than 20 stalls alongside the road so pick the one which catch your attention as some stalls are decorated creatively. Simply park to your nearest stall and start ordering

9. D’Place Kepayan Perdana, Kota Kinabalu
D’Place serve authentic Kadazan-Dusun cuisine. For the adventurous eater, challenge yourself to try eating raw butod (sago worm).
