Treasury wine estates, one of the world’s largest wine companies in the world recently held a California Wine Dinner at Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa on 30th September 2017. The Wine dinner features some of the best wines from Beringer, Sterling and Beaulieu Vineyard.
Beaulieu Vineyard, Beringer and Sterling Wine are some of the famous wine brand based in Napa Valley, California.

Sterling Vintner Collection Chardonnay 2015 is served. Sterling VC Chardonnay has gracious California style with vibrant fruit and supple texture. Crisp Gala apple, Bartlett pear and hints of pineapple are layered by lovely pie spices and toasty vanilla notes. The palate is long and round with rich viscosity that comes from partial malolactic fermentation and barrel aging. Clean, ripe citrus flavors extend the finish and add a refreshing lift to the rich fruit. A go-to Chardonnay, this wine has the perfect poise for any occasion.

First course is Rapa Rossa, Spashetti, Cappesante, Bottarga (Beetroot, cold spaghetti, Hokkaido Scallop and Mullet Roe)
The citrus flavors of Sterling Chardonnay give a refreshing lift to the flavor of the beetroot spaghetti
2nd Course, Verza, Fonduta, Tartufo (Savoy Cabbage, Black Truffle, Cheese Fondue)
Pair with full-bodied with fleshy ripe berries and plums Sterling VC Merlot.

3rd course: Pasta, Fagioli, Fegato Grasso (Homemade Rigatoni, Beans cream, Foie Gras) pair with BV Vineyards Merlot 2015 which give a strong, perfumed aromas of toasted vanilla, ripe red fruits, cracked white peppercorn and a hint of mint on the nose. Fruit-forward on the mouth with extracted flavors of vanilla candy, ripe cherry and sweet tobacco.
Beringer’s flagship wine, Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon truly reflects the best of each vintage and consistently highlights how extraordinary Napa Valley Cabernet is in its purest form. The Beringer reserve vineyards offer Cabernet of such quality that a minimalist approach to winemaking has long defined this blend.
On the left is BV Tapestry Reserve Red Blend. This rich, full-bodied and well balanced wine presents a deep purple color and an effervescent nose. Matching its demeanor, the nose exhibits bold, rich notes of dark and red fruits, vanilla, oak, tobacco, cigar box, and baking spice.
4th Course: Nello Alle Nocciole R Riduzione Al Vino (Lamb, Hazelnet, Red Wine Reduction)
5th Course: Marmellata Di Funghi, Formaggio Di Capra (Portobello Jam, Goat Cheese)
The California Wine Dinner showcased the wonderful selection of wine from Napa Valley California. The wine selections pair wonderfully with the special menu created by the Chefs.
