Getting there: The Commons is located about 2 Kms from Thong Lo BTS station. If you want to avoid the traffic, take the motorcycle shuttle at the BTS station an you are on the way to The commons. Per ride is 20 baht one way.
TheCommoons is a gathering ground for specialized, quality producers who take pride in what they do and do it with utmost care. This is an open plan place to hangout with friends with indoor and outdoor seating.
Open area at the centre of TheCommons. The Cafe, restaurants and shop surrounded the building. This eco-friendly mall is filled with Artisan cafes and various successful eateries and decided into four levels:
a)Market.
b)Village.
c)Play Yard.
d)Top Yard.
The Market is located on the ground floor filled with eateries like Summerbees, Egg my God, The Barrel, Holy Moly Pie, Xiao Chi, Absolute Fit Food, Eastbound, Soul Food 555, The Lobster Lab, The Beer Cap, Barrio Bonito, Meat & Bones Pepping, sourced, Maison Jean Philippe and Roots.
On the Village level you will find little shops scattered amidst the garden offering sweets and life’s simple treats such as Track 17, Treasures, Brix, Sound City, Plant House and Jona Waffle.
The Play Yard is for the Fitness and Health Enthusiasts with a Yoga studio called Absolute You, Enginou and Little pea for the young one.
On the Top Yard, you can find theCommons Kitchen & Bar and Roast.
We had our lunch at Roast. We ordered Bacon & Garlic spaghetti which is simple and good.
The highly recommended Chocolate Nutella Tart (280 THB) served with Dark chocolate hazelnut, grapefruit, and grapefruit Sorbet.
If you looking for hipster and artsy place in Bangkok, a visit to theCommons is a must. You can find plenty of good foods and good place for chill out.
