Sandakan Food Festival was successfully held from 26 August to 2 September 2017. The highlight of the event is Food Festival at Bandar Kim Fun where more than 50 food stalls, restaurants, and vendors. We reached Sandakan on the 2nd day of the Food Festival and we right into action discovering the foods at the food festival.

One of the must eat at Food Festival is Meinga fried Chicken. Their fried chicken is well marinated and juicy inside. The most popular food stall is the pork burger stall with a long queue from the start of the festival till finish

Masterchef Sandakan Food Festival
Sandakan Tourist Association (STAN) organized a MasterChef competition during Sandakan Food Festival. Participants are required to create a creative and delicious prawn dish in 90 minutes time
Judging for all the wonderful dishes by the chefs.

We had so much fun and great food at Festival Village, Sandakan Food Festival and met some wonderful friends from different countries. Thanks to the organizer for the wonderful arrangement and made Sandakan Food Festival a success. We will be back to Sandakan again!
