Bunga Raya Island Resort, part of Echo Resort opens the new Pantai Restaurant & Bar offering in-house guests and residents of Kota Kinabalu City a dining place with wide sweeping views of nature and sea.

Located at Gaya Island, Bunga Raya Island Resort has always been about appreciating the majestic jungle as well as the clear blue waters of the South China Sea, with each individual villa built to fit in with the nature terrain and landscape.

The resort prides itself in eco-friendly architectural building methods that have successfully preserved the luscious jungle and natural surrounding around it.

The newest F&B addition to the property was designed by Singaporean Design Firm, Architologi, in collaboration with the resort’s team of resident craftsmen. The restaurant designer emphasized blending modern comforts with the richness f nature in this unique design of where the rainforest meets the sea.

The Pantai Restaurant features a brand new menu with handcrafted creations assembled by Head Chef Lung, under the mentorship of renowned culinary consultant Chef Josef Friedrich Budde. The menu showcases western style dishes with a distinct Asian touch.

The team behind the Pantai Restaurant work hand in hand with Resort’s sister organic farm which exclusively focuses on the production of homegrown organic vegetables and organically farmed dish. The farm to table concept comes to life within the pages of the new handcrafted menus.
