Omakase is a Japanese dining experience that consists of dishes carefully selected by the chef. customers are able to spectate over the process of sushi-making and have each dish served immediately to ensure perfect taste and balance.
Most dishes are seasonal, and the chefs like to rotate what they serve.
On our recent visit to Kuala Lumpur, We visit Oribe Sushi at ViPod Residences for their Lunch Omakase Set.
There are 12 seats at the Sushi Bar area. We manage to get the seat at the Sushi bar as we make a booking few days earlier.
The Star of Oribe is Chef Hideki Oritsuki, he expertly show his knife skill preparing the fresh ingredients for our Lunch Omakase set. The Lunch Omakase set cost RM350++ but the money is well spent.
